Beautiful Soul, if gratitude feels far away today, you are not doing this wrong.
There are seasons when the sky feels lower and the days feel longer. In those seasons, gratitude is not loud. It is quiet. It is honest. It sounds like: I am still here. I am still breathing. I am not alone.
You do not have to force a joyful heart. You are allowed to name what hurts. But even in the middle of hard, look for one small mercy. A warm shower. A soft blanket. A God who has not left, even when it feels like everyone else has.
The heaviness is real. And so is the love holding you up underneath it.
